The Utah Jazz have been masters of the comeback lately and will try to close out a four-game road trip on a perfect note Saturday night against the Charlotte Bobcats.
The Jazz have erased double-digit deficits in each of their last four wins and improved to 3-0 on the road swing with Friday's 90-86 victory at Atlanta. Deron Williams had 24 points, 10 assists and five rebounds for Utah, which scored the final nine points of the game and erased an 11-point deficit.
Al Jefferson had 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Andrei Kirilenko added 14 points and 12 boards in the win.
"I was really proud of our guys for hanging in there,"
Jazz head coach Jerry Sloan said. "As long as we execute and take decent shots we have a chance to win."
Utah has won six of its last seven games and will return to Salt Lake City for a three-game homestand versus Oklahoma City, New Jersey and San Antonio after tonight's game in Charlotte.
The Bobcats have won two in a row on the road and are searching for their first win at home (0-3).
In a 93-85 win at Washington on Friday, Gerald Wallace finished with 25 points and 14 rebounds, and Boris Diaw added 19 points for the Bobcats, who were coming off a win at Toronto and have won consecutive games for the first time this season.
"I think the biggest thing right now with us is turnovers,"
Wallace said. "You take away the [24] turnovers that we had, and we probably hold them a lot lower than what they had. For us, our defense has always been our backbone and it's working again for us this season."
D.J. Augustin had 17 points and 10 assists in a winning cause.
Utah swept a home-and-home series with Charlotte a year ago and has won the last three meetings between the teams. These two clubs have split the six contests in Charlotte.
